Moving away from the United Kingdom

If you are here for the fixture list, the short answer is that it is not out yet. WCL confirmed the Season 3 dates on 17 August 2026 and named the seven teams, but the match-by-match schedule, the venues and the squads are all still to come.

What follows is everything that is confirmed, how the schedule has been structured in both previous seasons so you know roughly what to expect, and a fixture grid that fills in automatically the day the organisers publish it. We are not putting placeholder dates on this page — the last version of it did exactly that, and the dates were wrong.

Fixture list: awaiting official confirmation

Founder and CEO Harshit Tomar has indicated the tournament will move away from the United Kingdom for this edition, so the English grounds used in 2024 and 2025 should not be assumed. Squads are also still to be announced. Every match below appears only once it is officially confirmed.

FormatHow the WCL 2026 schedule is structured

Both previous editions followed the same shape across a two-week window.

  1. 01
    League stage

Every nation plays a round of group fixtures, frequently as weekend double-headers. With seven teams instead of six, this stage grows: 2025 ran 15 league matches, and Season 3 will carry more.

  2. 02
    Semi-finals

The top four sides on the points table progress. In 2025 both semi-finals were played at the same venue on the same day — South Africa Champions beat Australia Champions by a single run in one of them.

  3. 03
    The final

The closing fixture of the tournament, confirmed for 18 October 2026. South Africa Champions won the 2025 final; India Champions won in 2024.

Two rules that shape every match

No bowler may bowl more than two overs, and the powerplay is only five overs. Sides therefore need six or seven credible bowlers rather than four specialists, which is why all-rounders carry unusual value in this competition.
