What to know before the match
Pakistan Champions withdrew on 6 October after the Pakistan Cricket Board declined No Objection Certificates for their players. All six of their fixtures were cancelled. The remaining six teams play 15 league matches, two semi-finals and the final, all at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. A cancelled fixture is not a no result or a walkover, so no side gains or loses points from it.

Shahid Afridi is named in Season 3 coverage. Leg-spinning all-rounder and attacking lower-order batter. Pakistan have reached both previous WCL finals. Their challenge is to turn that tournament consistency into a first title, with Afridi offering a potential impact role in both innings.
